Cruzcampo is a premium quality pilsner beer, typically light tasting with a fine balance of malt and hops.
It has a floral, aromatic aroma, a dry finish and an alcohol content of 5%. Cruzcampo has its origins in Seville and is renowned as the classic beer of Andalucia. But over the past 10 years it has developed on a national basis and is now the number one Spanish beer brand.

The mystery of Rosada - Is it a hake, cod or monkfish?

Rosada is a very popular fish in Andalucia, but very many people have differing opinions of the origins of this fish. Many people think it's hake or cod, but whilst being vaguely similar to these, it most certainly is not. It mainly comes from the Atlantic or colder shores such as Scotland and Wales. It's called Rosada in Andalucia because of its slightly pinkish skin.

In actual fact, after extensive searching over the internet, I have discovered that it is wolf fish which is a member of the cat fish family, and as it is an exceedingly ugly fish you can only buy it with its head cut off, but don't be put off by this statement as it's delicious!

It's an exceedingly large fish, up to 6 - 8 feet in length. I actually think that the texture of it is similar to what us English call rock salmon, which of course is actually dog fish a member of the shark family.

I'm happy to say that neither the catfish nor dogfish do remotely resemble our four legged friends, nor the monkfish do priests!
